I’ve been a fan of Brownie Points ever since reading the post on Homemade Magic Shell (check it out!) and bookmarked the Basic Marshmallow recipe probably a year ago. However, I had ingredient issues, the grocery stores around my old apartment never ever had gelatin. Seriously!
When we moved to this apartment the tiny C-Town, two blocks away, turned out to have an awesome Baking aisle! Finally, stocked with gelatin, I made Marshmallows today! They are simple to make but a sticky affair, mind you.
They also take 10-12 hours to set so the end product post will in a few. For now, I will leave you with a shot of Betty (my Kitchenaid) whipping that Marshmallow into fluffiness.

So there, that’s fixed!
Happy Sunday Party People!
- Check out Miso Basics to know more about Miso. (I love Miso!)
- Turns out I could have saved my right foot from that nasty ass burn six years ago and made FREEZER JAM all along! I just found out about Freezer Jam. (thanks again @garrick_s)

See you next year, ubiquitous Passion Fruit tarts.

Bakery Itiriki is (as I said above) a Japanese, Chinese, Brazilian and French Bakery. A little piece of heaven right in the middle of the (also awesome) Asian neighborhood in São Paulo (Liberdade). Years before I even thought about being a baker or having a blog, I spent many Sundays there drinking yummy bubble tea, yours truly was lucky to live close by!
